Current Sales status
Our team in Brazil have recently reported that a
total of 204 units have been reserved on Phase 1,
Quintas do Lago of the Mossoro project. This consists
of 194 plots and 10 houses, representing 65% reserved
in Phase 1.

UK team return from visit to N.E. Brazil
The directors of Aspiral International recently returned
from a visit to Brazil to inspect the Mossoro project
and visit Fortaleza to meet all construction partners,
accountants and banks involved to progress the project.
Brazil is refreshing at this time and proving to be
resilient in the face of the 'Global Credit Crunch'.
Our finance packages with Guia on luxury housing offer
people up to 30 year mortgages (previously 6 years),
our negotiations for packages on affordable housing
are evolving with several leading Brazilian banks
interested, and the Mossoro team for sales, PR, accounting
and administration were truly impressive. The Mossoro
infrastructure, Sales Office and showhouse were exceptional,
exceeding our expectations and the masterplanned facilities
for Phase 1 residents are remarkable; apart from the
usual leisure facilities there is a running track,
gourmet communal kitchen, skateboarding half pipe,
children play areas, zen garden, fountains, all amongst
beautiful landscaped gardens. There is no comparable
product presently in Mossoro, a first for the city.

The infrastructure linking the project to the mall
and the proximity to the city, industry and university
underline the projects convenient location. The mall
only a short drive away (1km) not only features a
Guia stand as soon as you enter but we are having
a show house built within the car park for our affordable
units construction is underway! The sales and PR team
really go the extra mile to capitalise on creating
sales: sunset viewings, visit clients at work, meet
with clients friends, advertising, mailshots etc.
This activity really built confidence in hitting proposed
sales targets.
The highlight of the trip was a 1 hour meeting with
the Mayor of Mossoro and her planning officials. She
was keen to welcome our international investment in
the city, to emphasize the strength and growth of
the local industry and the housing deficit and the
benefit of our affordable housing concept to local
people (see picture, right). We then appeared the
next day in the local newspapers.

Reuters news story gives Brazil good press
International news agency Reuters
reported yesterday that Brazil (along with Mexico,
China and Egypt) remains one of the best places for
property investments as the global financial crisis
drags on. Millionaire real estate financial
mogul Sam Zell said in the article that:
"Those countries
have a shortage of affordable housing and infrastructures
that support foreign investment, Zell, chairman
of Equity Group Investments, LLC, said at a forum
in New York sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania's
Wharton business school.
Brazil is self-sufficient, has a strong
pool of skilled professionals and otherwise unlimited
resources, he said. The country also offers scale,
he said, citing same-store growth for Equity Group
Investments-owned malls of 12 percent over the past
year.
Zell went onto say that:
"In Brazil and Mexico, funding for housing
has been unaffected by the turmoil in capital markets
that has frozen or dampened housing elsewhere,"

Official Launch Party for Phase 1 of the Mossoro Affordable
Housing development.
Aspiral International are pleased to report that
on the 13th November 2008 the official launch party
for Phase 1, Quintas do Lago, Mossoro Affordable Housing
development was hosted by construction partners Terra
Brasilis.
The official launch was a complete success with over
600 people attending the party, where clients and
members of the press attended a presentation by Terra
Brasilis. Visitors could also look around the finished
showhouse, and enjoy themselves afterwards with drinks,
food and and live music.
