50% of Phase 1 plots in Mossoro Affordable Housing Development, Northeast Brazil sold already

On the 1st August we had confirmation from our project manager in Brazil that 157 plots of the 313 available in Phase 1 of the Mossoro Affordable Housing Development, Northeast Brazil have sold already. This is great news which exceeded our expectations as the plots are still at a pre-launch stage and have only been made available to selected agents for 2 weeks. We anticipate the rest of the Phase 1 plots to consistantly sell over the next 12 months from the official launch party on the 15th September 2008.

Pre-launch sales started for Mossoro Affordable Housing Development, Northeast Brazil

Pre-launch sales for Phase 1 of the Mossoro Affordable Housing development, Northeast Brazil, began on Tues 15th July. The 313 plots of Phase 1 are currently only available to selected agents and will be officially launched with a publicity party on 15th September upon completion of the show home.

Mossoro Affordable Housing Development construction of sales office and entrance gates completed

On 16th July 2008 the sales office for Phase 1 of the Mossoro Affordable Housing Development was completed along with some of the infrastructure including the entrance gates and entrance gardens. The sales office will eventually become the Club House when the development is compete.

Construction License Granted for Phase 1 Mossoro Affordable Housing Development, Northeast Brazil

On Monday, 7th July 2008 the construction license was granted for Phase 1 of the Mossoro Affordable Housing development, Northeast Brazil. Receiving this within 8 months from purchase is a great achievement by the Brazilian team. This means that we are now legally entitled to sell the 313 plots in Phase 1 as they are officially recognised.

TV Ad and Billboard Campaign for Mossoro Affordable Housing Development

30th May 2008 saw the launch of TV advertising for the Terra Brasilis brand and the Mossoro Affordable Housing development. This is a TV campaign that will run alongside billboard and press advertising generating a buzz in the Mossoro community as we build towards a launch date.

Mossoro Affordable Housing Development, Northeast Brazil now open for investment

On 12th May 2008 the due dilligence legal report for Mossoro Affordable Housing Development was completed by Brazilian solicitors Eduardo Ribeiro Advocacia. This document can now be packaged along with a financial model and a project summary making the Joint Venture available for investment.

Press Launch for Mossoro Affordable Housing Development, Northeast Brazil

April 2008 saw members of the local press gathered together for a publicity event for the Mossoro Affordable Housing Development. A coach was hired to tour Mossoro press around exsisting Terra Brasilis developments in Fortaleza as an example of design, landscaping, facilities and build quality that will be mirrored on the Mossoro site. The tour concluded with lunch held at a leading restaurant. The day was a success with members of the Aspiral International team and our partners Terra Brasilis being interviewed on Brazilian television about the Mossoro development. Subsquently newspaper articles regarding the Mossoro development appeared all over Northeast Brazil giving us good publicity in preparation for launch.

Deed for Mossoro Phase 1 received

Yesterday our project manager in Brazil, Joaquim Soares went to meet the former owner of the site of the Mossoro Affordable Housing development to receive the deed for Phase 1 of the development. A pre-launch party was organised along with our partners, Terra Brasilis to celebrate. The Phase 1 site is already being prepared with infrastructure, entrance gates, sales office and show home for the launch date. We also learned that supermarket giant Carrefour are to build near the development.

AI's first affordable housing site purchased near Mossoro, Rio Grande do Norte, Northeast Brazil

On the 10th December, Aspiral International secured its first Brazilian affordable housing site located in the city of Mossoro, Rio Grande do Norte, Northeast Brazil. The 743,556m² area of land has been purchased to be master planned and developed into 2,513 house community in three phases for the affordable housing market in Brazil. The current housing deficit in Brazil is estimated at 8 million units. The project will be developed with our construction partner Terra Brasilis and will be offered to investors as soon as it is packaged for Joint Investment.
